Children's Ministry Coordinator

My family became a part of Adventure-Life in 1979 as charter members.  Since then I have been involved in a number of ministries including missions, music, women’s Bible studies, youth ministry, Care Teams, and Life Groups.  In 2007 I was given the privilege of leading the Children’s Ministry at Adventure-Life.  My children grew up at Adventure-Life and their lives have been greatly impacted by the pastors, youth leaders, and children’s teachers they knew through the years.  I have a deep desire to see that all children who are a part of Adventure-Life experience the chance to grow and mature in their faith as my children did. 

I have been married to Lloyd for 36 years.  We have two children, Mark and Laurie.    Mark and his wife Deanne live in Waukee with their two children, Elias born in 2003 and Lydia born in 2005.  Laurie and her husband Dan Milczski live in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin with their daughter, Kirsten born in 2007.  Lloyd and I enjoy traveling, boating with our family, and hiking in the mountains of Colorado.   In my leisure 
time I like to spend time with my grandchildren, read, put pictures in scrapbooks, play with our cat, Reggie, and do things around our house.  During my “working” years I taught Elementary Physical Education in the Des Moines Schools.
