My husband Tom and I started attending Adventure-Life Church in 1997 with our two young children, Amanda and Brian.  We loved the worship that took place here and over the years have grown spiritually and enjoyed great friendships.

In January of 2000 I started working part-time helping out on Fridays folding the programs, mailing out letters, distributing fliers in mailboxes, etc.  I loved Fridays.  In the spring of 2004, Joyce Lourens retired from the Office Administrator position and I knew that this was a job I really wanted.  I LOVE my job!  Life is always an adventure here!  

I am an official Notary Public with the State of Iowa and would be happy to help you with your notary needs.  I provide this service free of charge for members of Adventure-Life Church.

When I'm not in the office, I especially enjoy spending time with my family (which now includes a son-in-law Ray, and grandchildren Emma and Max), hanging out 
with friends, or reading a good book.  I have a passion for encouraging Christians who are struggling on their walk with God and enjoy discovering what worship 
looks like in my everyday life.  I am attempting to grow a big garden and keep 
some flowers alive in the front of my house (which is a huge challenge for me).  I also find genealogy fascinating and enjoy spending time looking up long- ago relatives.
