What is Discipleship Essentials?

      Discover the fullness of life in Jesus!  We grow in Him as we seek Him 
      together.  Jesus’ own pattern of disciple making was to be intimately 
      involved with others and allow life to rub against life.   This class is a 
      tool that covers the basics, and builds on levels growing toward maturity.  
      Reflect on the questions, ask God to reveal to you how to answer from 
      your heart.  When you do, you become His disciple. 

      DE is 24 weeks long, usually with groups of 2-3.  The hope is that once 
      you have completed your journey in discipleship, you will begin the 
      process of taking others through, also - to complete the commandment 
      that we were given in Matthew 28:19-20, to Go, and make disciples of 
      all nations (even in your own backyard), baptizing them in the name of 
      the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

      Jesus had a big vision to think small.  Focusing on a few did not limit His 
      influence - it expanded it.  DE was made to help us help others as Jesus 
      did- a few at time.
