Small Groups Spring 2011

Small groups at Adventure Life Church have two sessions for bringing new 
small groups together.  First, our spring session is an 8- week church- wide 
focus on a specific topic that we as a church study together.  We learn as a 
large group from sermons on Sunday from Pastor Tom VandeBerg.  Then we 
learn more about the topic in greater detail through our small groups that 
meet weekly.  But just getting smarter about a subject isn’t what drives the 
small groups.  Joining a small group helps the building of close relationships 
and the transformation of human beings. 

Sunday, April 17, 2011, will be our kick- off date for small groups.  If you aren’t 
in a small group, but would like to join, the deadline for signing up is Sunday, 
April 3.  We currently have a need for new small group hosts to help facilitate 
the new groups.  We will have 2 training sessions between church services on
Sunday, March 26^, and Sunday, April 3, at 10:15 a.m. in the room behind the 
kitchen.

Both veteran and new small groups will be meeting for 8 weeks.  Our topic of 
study will be spiritual warfare.  We will be looking at Ephesians chapter 6 in the Bible.
