Caring Hands Food Pantry

      Adventure-Life Church supports the Southeast Polk area food pantry 
      (which includes the Altoona, Mitchellville and Runnells communities). 
      The food pantry, which used to be housed here at ALC, now is located
      at 201 9th St. N.E., Altoona.  Clients are able to come once a calendar month 
      to receive food and personal items.  The food pantry is open Mondays and
      Wednesday (except holidays) from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and the first and third
      Saturdays of the month from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.  Food and monetary donations
      can be brought to Adventure-Life Church during normal business hours:  
      8:30 - noon, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Opportunities to help
      include:  Interviewing clients, stocking shelves, carrying boxes to client's 
      vehicle, or making food/monetary donations.  Please make checks payable to
