Meet the team members:

      The current members of the Adventure-Life Mission Team are:             

      If you are interested in becoming more involved with missions, and are
      interested in joining the team, please contact anyone on the list and we
      can give you more information.  We are always looking for more people
      to get more involved!

Mission Statement

      The Adventure-Life Mission Team exists to bring awareness to the many
      opportunities to become involved with missions and to encourage and 
      enable active participation in mission activities for all those attending 
      Adventure-Life Church.

Mission Definition

      Missions at Adventure-Life encompasses a wide variety of involvement in
      activities that meet the spirit of our guiding charge given to us by Jesus in 
      Acts 1:8:

           "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and
           you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria
           and to the ends of the earth."

      Further, we see our focus in three primary areas:

           1.  Local Missions - Serving those in our own communities, in and
                around Altoona and the surrounding areas
           2.  U.S. Missions - Serving those in our own country
           3.  World Wide Missions - Serving those anywhere in the world
