Hallowed Be Your Name
Connection

The word “hallow” is the Greek word Hagios which is the word
for holy, to consider holy, to treat as holy.

1.  Open it Uphttp://image3.examiner.com/images/blog/EXID6171/images/5723_blue_circle_of_arrows_turning_clockwise.jpg

To hallow God’s name, we put Him on the throne of our hearts
and mind.

Isaiah 6:1-7

By entering the throne room of the Lord, our posture changes.
We no longer talk at God, we talk to Him.

In the presence of the Lord, we can become holy.

To hallow God’s name, we open the door to receive.

2.  To hallow God’s name, we reflect on His character
     Receive
o

Emanuel – Matthew 1:23 “The virgin will be with child and
will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel –
which means, ‘God with us.’”
GOD IS WITH US

Jehovah Shalom – John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my
peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
GOD IS MY PEACE

Jehovah Tsidkenu – Psalm 48:10  “Like your name, O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand
is filled with righteousness.”
GOD IS MY RIGHTEOUSNESS

Jehovah Rophe – Deuteronomy 32:39 “See now that I myself
am He!  There is no god besides me.  I put to death and I bring
to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver
out of my hand.”
GOD IS MY HELPER

Father – Matthew 6:9 “This then is how you should pray, ‘Our
Father who are in heaven, hallowed be Your name.’”

When we hallow the name of the Lord, we receive the name of
the Lord. Christian!!!!

3.  We hallow God’s name by living out His character and
names on earth.       Give it away.
1

All of His characteristics become our characteristics when we
come in the name of the Lord.

We give Emanuel to those who don’t think God is there.

We give Jehovah Shalom to those who are anxious, scared, or
wrestling with life and circumstances.

We give Jehovah Tsidkenu to those who don’t believe that things
can be put back together again.

We give Jehovah Rophe to those who need healing.

We remind someone that Papa God loves them unconditionally.

We hallow God’s name when we open the door to God’s throne
room, receive His characteristics in our lives, and then give it
away.
