Sermon Notes 5-09-10

Give Us Today Our Daily Bread – Dependence

“Worry weighs a person down.”                 Proverbs 12:25

Two Prayer Lessons

1.  Seek God as the answer to our needs.

“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?  If you, then,
though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your
children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good
gifts to those who ask him!”
                        Matthew 7:9-11

“Since God did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up
for us all, won’t God, who gave Christ, also give us everything
else?”
                                                           Romans 8:32

·            - Make a deliberate choice to pray before your meals this
        week.

-   Make a list of God’s gifts to your family.

2.  Declare your  daily dependence.

“My God shall supply all of your needs.”  Philippians 4:6

Anything worth worrying about is worth praying about.

Your greatest need is for the bread of life.
