Will We Last?
Acts 2:42-47 

 
What God does, lasts!  

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…”                                       Philippians 1:6
 

Three Things That Will Help Us Last:  

1.  The early church was community.  

We need each other to be the people God meant us to be.  

“In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a 
holy temple in the Lord.  And in him you too are being built together 
to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”                                                                                                                   Ephesians 2:21-22  

2.  The early church had an attitude of gratitude.  

Gratitude frees you up to live generously.  

 “Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you 
know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”     1 Corinthians 15:58  

You’re not going to lose, by giving.
 

3.  The early church was devoted.  

  ”Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another 
above yourselves.”                                                            Romans 12:10
