Consider the Church?
1 Peter 2:9-10 / Ephesians 2:19
 

When you become a believer in Christ, you become a part 
of a community.
 

Four Benefits of a Church Community:

1.  It helps me focus on God.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind.  This 
 is the first and greatest commandment.”                       Matthew 20:2  

There’s power when we worship together.

2.  It helps me face life's problems.

“Jesus died for us so that…we may live together with him.  Therefore 
encourage one another and build each other up....”   
                                                                             1 Thessalonians 5:10-11
 

We need each other.

3.  It helps to strengthen my faith.

  ”Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go 
to maturity.”                                                                      Hebrews 6:1

4.  It helps me learn to serve.

     “To prepare God’s people for works of service.”         Ephesians 4:12  

      As a Christian, you were made for service.  

The Church is a community that helps you find the power to live on.
