What Does That Mean?

“Caesar Who?”

Matthew 22:17-21

Caesar represents our culture, our worlds systems, and our
 values.

Give to God whatever God’s image is on.

God doesn’t want all the things that we accumulate in life if he
 doesn't have us
.

"...we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
If anyone
has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has
no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?"
                                                                                                  1 John 3:16-17

1.    Your Time.

How you spend your time reveals who you serve.

“No servant can serve two masters.  Either he will hate the
one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and
despise the other.  You cannot serve both God and Money.

Luke 16:13

2.   Your Talent.

“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving

one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”

1 Peter 4:10 NAS

3.  Your Treasures.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

     Luke 12:34

“Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self
with its evil practices, and you have put on the new self who
is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image
of the One who created him.”
                           Colossians 3:9 NAS
